The children were wonderful at the play last night.  It was excellent!  Thank you to Mrs. Busch and Mrs. Crowe  for helping with the children on Sunday and to Mrs. Kyle for helping last night.  Thank you to all the parents for bringing your children to Sunday’s rehearsal. Kindergarten Parents are awesome!

The children will be receiving their lines for graduation soon.  As soon as they receive them, please help your child to memorize them.  I can’t believe I am talking about graduation.

Tomorrow is field day.  We are praying for sunshine.  Please remember your child wears sneakers, gym shorts and the color shirt that is on the list. (I have enclosed the list.)  You might want to put sunscreen on your child as we are outside all day.  We know it will be a fun-filled day.  Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help Mrs. Gilman. You are all welcome to stop by to see us having fun.

Thank you for all you do!  Have a great weekend!

If there is anyone who was not a mystery reader and would like to be one, it is not too late.  Just let me know what day and time will work for you.  The children love when a family member comes in to read.

Jj came this week. When we think of Jj, we think of Jesus. In Religion, this week we are thinking about how much Jesus loves us.  He wants us to share His love.  He tells us, “Love one another as I have loved you.” We are thinking about Loving Words and Loving Actions.  In Math, we are learning about the shapes circles, squares, triangles and rectangles.  We are comparing how they are alike and how they are different.  We had fun making our own real life pictures using shapes.  In Phonics and reading, we are busy reading new stories and reviewing our sight words.

I am asking each parent to please make sure your child has a coloring book and book to read in their desk at all times. Many children are completing their work faster than others and it is important for them to know what to do when they are finished.

Thank you for all you do. Have a great week!
